Its vodkas have been consistent winners in the pages of Imbibe, and now Stolichnaya is challenging 10 London bartenders to put on a similarly stellar performance with its new Stoli Gala Applik

This summer Stolichnaya is launching a new cocktail competition to celebrate the launch of its latest flavour: Stoli Gala Applik. Featuring 10 bartenders drawn from the best bars around London, the competition will showcase the unique marriage of crisp red apple and zesty citrus that makes this new vodka from Stolichnaya so mixable. Made from quadruple-filtered Russian grain vodka and all-natural flavours, Stoli Gala Applik is the latest in Stoli’s pioneering succession of authentic flavours which also includes Ohranj, Razberi, Vanil and the recently introduced Citros.

Elsewhere in the range, Stoli offers non-flavoured vodkas for every occasion, from Stolichnaya Blue, a 100 proof version of the spirit, and Stolichnaya Gold, a super-premium vodka that offers a stepping-stone between Stoli Red and ultra-luxury Stoli Elit, to the keystone expression Stoli Red, all distilled with the same attention to detail and quality.

STOLI ELIT – IMBIBE ICE BEST VODKA 2010

Appearing in the top five ever since the Imbibe ICE Awards for luxury spirits began, Stoli Elit clinched the top spot in 2010 a full nine points ahead of the field, reflecting a clear trend towards more characterful, premium vodkas with real heritage. Full and lively on the palate, with all the power you’d hope for from a vodka of Russian heritage, it also impressed the judges with a finish that was full of finesse – perfect for sipping and mixing in luxury cocktails.

STOLI RED – IMBIBE BEST VODKA UNDER £20

Stoli Red took the top prize in the Imbibe Pouring Spirits awards, beating nine other vodkas to the title of ‘Best Vodka Under £20’. A high scorer with the judges right across the board, it distinguished itself from the crowd by showing exceptional character and balance – at a great price.
