Robert Giorgione
Self employed wine specialist and award-winning sommelier; Robert’s credentials include 12 years as a top-flight London sommelier, doing time at Orrery, Oxo Tower, La Tante Claire and Fifth Floor at Harvey Nichols. His current business interests include: travel, photography, consultancy, tasting, reviewing, writing, ecommerce and social media. A member of the Court of Master Sommeliers he has successfully achieved the qualification to Advanced Level and he regularly serves on tasting and judging panels for DWWA, IWSC, Decanter and Imbibe magazines, alongside other prestigious accolades, including the 2010 Drinking Out Excellence Awards. Robert has two books in the pipeline – one about New Zealand, and a non-fiction about food and wine.
