The Bourgogne Wine Board is hosting a series of Bourgogne Wines Club, with the theme for 2017 being unlock the secrets.
Xavier Rousset MS will again host each session and, like the Sherlock Holmes of the wine trade, will use his detective skills to help members follow the clues to discover a number of appellations from across the region.
Around 12 wines will be tasted per session, with a special blind flight at the end to see if participants have been paying attention.
Members of the Club will also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a meal for two at Xavier’s Bourgogne-themed City restaurant, Cabotte. The sessions are free, and members can choose to attend all or a selection of sessions.
The sessions are free and as followed:
10 April – The Case of the Subtle Saints: a close inspection of Saint-Romain, Saint-Aubin, Saint-Véran & Saint-Bris
15 May – The Signs of the Three – putting the magnifying glass to Petit Chablis, Chablis & Chablis Premier Cru
