On 28 June 2017, Wine Australia will be hosting a Alternative Varieties Tasting at London’s Australia House.
Over the last two decades, there’s been a surge in plantings of alternative varieties. Mediterranean varieties like Fiano and Tempranillo as well as more unusual varieties like Assyrtiko and Saperavi are finding a second home and unique expression in Australia.
