Marussia Beverages on the hunt for Scotland business development manager

Marussia Beverages is looking for a business development manager in Scotland. If successful, you’ll be responsible for negotiating commercial agreements with clients, maximising brand exposure and developing key brand distribution.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Developing MBUK’s business and that of its clients in mutually beneficial ways
  • Achieving targets for new business development and key brand distribution
  • Negotiating commercial agreements with clients, maximising brand exposure and the commercial benefits for the company and its principals
  • Managing time and costs as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Identifying, setting and achieving targets for account calls
  • Building and developing joint business plans for all key strategically important customers
  • Identifying, analysing and evaluating all new business and incremental opportunities and to ensure good lines of communication with the commercial director, whilst properly observing the company organisation structure
  • Managing client accounts i.e. training, activations, communication, route to market etc
  • Maintaining good inter-departmental communication and administration
  • Dealing with client complaints
  • Attending national trade shows and other similar events – outside your territory where necessary – as directed by the sales director
  • Actively managing a geographical and defined client list and achieve budgeted revenue and profit targets within this
  • Achieving set brand distribution targets, and effectively develop and promote these brands

Place of work:  

  • Home-based working within the defined geographical area
  • Need to live in this area to understand its nature and culture

Hours of work:  

  • Based upon 40 hours/week
  • Flexible, reflecting the nature of the industry
  • By its nature this may necessitate some evenings and weekends
  • You will report to the commercial director and senior manager
