London’s W10 postcode now has its own beer. The Portobello Brewing Company claims to be the largest capacity brewery in the area since Notting Hill Brewery closed in 1922.
The range currently consists of Portobello Pale, Portobello Star, and Portobello Market Porter. There’s also a lager in the works – expected this April. They’ll be targeting their namesake, Portobello Road, of course, but have an initial focus on the rest of London too.
The brewery is headed up by two beer-industry veterans, Rob Jenkins, sales director, and Iain Masson, head brewer.
