Molson Coors has landed a five-year contract with leading UK short break provider Center Parcs to provide its five UK locations with beer and cider.

The deal encompasses brands including Carling Lager, cask ale Doom Bar, Czech lager Staropramen, Swedish cider Rekorderlig and the recently-launched Czech-inspired pilsner, Pravha.

Seasonal marketing initiatives and promotions surrounding national sporting events are planned.

Martyn Cozens, sales director of independent on-premise at Molson Coors, said: ‘We are proud to be partnering with Center Parcs, one of the leaders in the UK short break holiday market.

‘The vote of confidence in our business model is particularly pleasing and we feel that its popularity is largely down to its insight driven approach and the fact it puts the needs of the customer first. We’re looking forward to a successful five years, offering a wide portfolio of beers and ciders to Center Parcs guests.’

Martyn Smith, head of procurement at Center Parcs, said: ‘We are excited about this contract with Molson Coors. They demonstrated an insight led approach to our business, with a focus on offering the right brands based mostly on consumer behaviour. We were impressed by their knowledge of the latest and future market and macro trends, which will help us ensure our guests are getting what they want whilst on a short break with us.’
