Halewood adds Whitley Neill Blood Orange Vodka to range

Location: England, Scotland, Wales

With the demand for premium vodka on the rise, Halewood Wines and Spirits has added a Sicilian-inspired blood orange flavour to its Whitley Neill range.

Whitley NeillFamed for it’s African-inspired dry gin, this is the brand’s first venture into the vodka market, with the aim of expanding reach in the premium on-trade.

Whitley Neill Blood Orange Vodka is produced using a mixture of Sicilian orange aromas combined with earthy spices. According to Whitley Neill, the vodka is smooth enough to be drunk neat, with the recommended serve being in a Sicilian Sunset – using orange and lime juice, honey and orange zest.

Contrasting to the dark branding of its gin, the Blood Orange Vodka has a bright orange bottle to match. The vodka is available to the on-trade now, with a 20cl bottle set to be launched in the upcoming months.

‘The Whitley Neill brand is all about the essence of discovery and using unique flavour combinations to deliver distinctive new tastes and experiences for consumers,’ said Tina Connolly, brand manager for Whitley Neill.

‘We’ve created a particularly smooth liquid for Whitley Neill Blood Orange Vodka, which taps into both the growing premium vodka category and current consumer trends for orange flavoured spirits, allowing bartenders to craft a mixture of serves,’ she concluded.
