You would think that winning an Imbibe Personality of the Year award would give anyone an excuse to rest on their laurels for a while. Not so Fred Sirieix. The Galvin at Windows general manager, who recently won Educator of the Year at Imbibe’s glittering ceremony, has announced another initiative to knock bad service out of the hospitality industry.

Sirieix has teamed up with Westminster Kingsway College in London to launch the Art of Service – Restaurant Manager course.

The programme is split into sections including restaurant reservations, customer psychology, food knowledge and creating a high performance culture.

Guest lecturers including Sirieix will also attend to impart their wisdom during the 28-week day release programme which is priced at £2,225.
