Arc Inspirations isn’t messing around when it comes to growing its Banyan Bar & Kitchen brand, as it pumps £1.6m into its second Manchester site and eighth overall.

The new 230-cover, 7,000 square foot Spinningfields venue is expected to open this summer, creating 50 local jobs. Banyan was Arc Inspirations’ first bar outside of Leeds when it first opened in Harrogate in 2006, followed by a second one in York in 2013. It most recently opened a Banyan in Ilkley in late 2017.

‘The success of our Corn Exchange venue and increased demand for the brand has meant we can branch Banyan across the north of England and beyond,’ said Arc Inspirations CEO Martin Wolstencroft. ‘Guests will see a real difference compared with Corn Exchange, and we know Banyan is going to ooze sophistication and be a fantastic addition to the vibrant Spinningfields area.’

The news of the site comes soon after the announcement that the group will be expanding its New York style Manahatta concept from Leeds to Manchester’s Deansgate.
