Jing Tea is taking education into its own hands with a three-day tea sommelier course run at Oxford Brookes University early next year.
The company’s founder, Edward Eisler, will teach the course together with the Dr Lisa Ryan, senior lecturer in the university’s functional food centre, who will discuss science of tea from a health perspective.
The course will include tea tasting with Eisler, who will be sharing his vast knowledge on the subject, along with information about regions in China, Taiwan, India, Sri Lanka and Japan.
