Britvic back mixer drinks


As much as 78% of all spirits sold in the on-trade are mixed with a soft drink, according to new figures from Britvic and Pernod Ricard UK, who have teamed up to drive spirit and mixer serves in UK pubs.

The alliance offers training and advice for publicans on improving consistency, profitability and driving sales of spirit and mixer drinks, as well as POS kits to prompt purchase among consumers. More transparent pricing is also a priority, says Britvic, which found that 42% of consumers said they would consider a spirit and mixer drink if the price was inclusive and clearly displayed.
