Boozing with Buck in Edinburgh

Location: Scotland
Other: Venues

The Voyage of Buck brings the early 20th century back to Edinburgh. Focusing on the story of traveller and socialite William ‘Buck’ Clarence, and based in his one-time residence, this themed bar and restaurant promises to take you on an epicurean expedition.

Opened by Big Red Teapot, the team behind the city’s The Blackbird, Treacle and Hamilton’s, the menu changes monthly, using only fresh and local ingredients – again inspired by 1900s Edinburgh.

Of course the marble-topped bar is where the magic happens, with a cocktail list inspired by Buck’s travels to Paris, Taipei, Cairo and Havana, each city quirkily having its own set of drinks.

Voyage-worthy cocktails? Try the Havana-inspired Compay Segundo, with banana-infused Diplomatico Reserva, lime, crème de cacao, smashed coffee beans and house-batch coconut orgeat.
