Warner Edwards introduces its Honeybee Gin to on-trade

Warner Edwards is hoping to sting the competition as it gives its Honeybee variant an on-trade launch following a cracking soft launch with Craft Gin Club.

The second release from the Botanical Garden range contains a whopping 28 ‘natural’ and homegrown botanicals from the Falls Farm garden and its hedgerows in Harrington, Northamptonshire.

‘We are delighted to release our Honeybee Gin to a wider audience,’ founder Tom Warner said. ‘It’s our most complicated recipe but the flavour is just incredible, and feedback from gin lovers and experts has been that it’s a real addition to the gin market.’

The Honeybee Gin will be supported by an awareness campaign in association with the Royal Horticultural Society – a first for the national charity for gardening.

To further help our buzzy friends, a packet of wildflower seeds will accompany each bottle to encourage the planting of bee-friendly gardens.

‘We completely rely on the generosity of nature in producing our delicious gins – we have a dedicated beekeeper in Jonny Easter at Falls Farm as well as our own botanical garden,’ Warner added.

‘So doing our bit in raising awareness of the plight of the honeybee and encouraging the planting of wild flowers is authentic to our ethos.’

Warner Edwards is set to celebrate its fifth birthday in December.
