Fair adds Pomegranate Liqueur to portfolio

Location: France

Taking fair trade to the next level, socially responsible brand Fair is introducing some jammy pomegranate and cranberry goodness to its portfolio.

Made using Fairtrade-certified pomegranate from Uzbekistan, the sugar used in Fair Pomegranate is also Fairtrade certified and sourced directly from varous fairtrade co-ops as Paraguay or Malawi. The Pomegranate ends its production process in Cognac, France where it’s bottled.

Clear and crimson red, you can expect jammy pomegranate, cranberry and hints of cherry on the nose. Rich pomegranate on the palate is sweet but the tart acidity cuts through the sugar nicely.

We suspect it’ll be a hit with a splash (or three) of bubbles. If you want something with a bit more punch, Fair’s suggested serve is a take on the Whiskey Sour.
