Little Red Door's Remy Savage and the Savoy’s Anna Sebastian We can all finally stop guessing, as the new bar team for former World’s Best Bar Artesian at The Langham has been announced.

Joining from Paris’ Little Red Door, Remy Savage will start work as head bartender in November. He won the title of World’s Most Imaginative Bartender in 2014, and has been instrumental in getting Little Red Door to number 11 in World’s 50 Best Bars.

A little closer to home, The Beaufort Bar at the Savoy will be losing Anna Sebastian as she takes on the role of Artesian bar manager. Winner of our very own Bar Personality of the Year, she previously led Beaufort Bar to its 2015 Best International Hotel Bar Award at Tales of the Cocktail.

The two will collaborate on a preview menu which will be available from December, with a full new menu launch in March 2018.

‘London has always been somewhere I’ve admired for its amazing cocktail scene and I’m so excited to be returning to the city in one of its most beautiful bars,’ said Savage on the reasons behind his move. ‘I can’t wait to start working with the team and one of London’s best bar managers.’

‘I’ve always admired Artesian and what is stands for as a bar,’ added Sebastian. ‘This is an exciting new chapter for me and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience to a place that celebrates innovation and originality.

World’s 50 Best Bar’s 2017 rankings were revealed last night, but with this new announcement, we’re looking forward to 2018 already…
