Entrepreneur and hotelier Martin Miller, and the man behind the eponymous gin, passed away on Christmas eve.
In addition to founding Martin Miller’s Gin with Andreas Versteegh and David Bromige, Miller also set up the Miller’s Antiques Guide and owned a number of hotels. He also established the Miller’s Academy of Art & Science in London.
The gin was launched in 1999, well before the current renewed interest in the category. His intention, according to the brand’s owner The Reformed Spirits Company, ‘was to pass on his own love of gin to a whole new generation of gin lovers’.
