Only a few days remain to get the chance to become a Glenrothes Whisky Maker.
The Speyside distillery has been running a competition to find four whisky makers who will undertake a week-long apprenticeship at the distillery.
Winners will learn how to produce whisky, becoming involved in all aspects of production, from testing the purity of the water used, to the making of casks at the cooperage. Finally, each whisky maker will create their own selection of Glenrothes.
To enter, you only need to provide 50 words or fewer about why you’re the right person for the job, before the end of January. The apprenticeship begins on 8 May 2011.
