If there’s one thing people who work in hospitality enjoy, it’s a fun night out with a delicious meal and excellent drinks. That’s why The King’s Ginger is offering bartenders the opportunity to win dinner fit for a King, simply by sampling a refreshing ‘King’s & Tonic’ serve at Imbibe Live.
The King’s Ginger was created in 1903 especially for King Edward VII as a warming tonic to keep him in good health and spirits on his many social engagements. Expertly made by macerating fresh ginger root and Sicilian lemon peel it is a stimulating mix of spice, citrus and sweetness at a bold 41.3% abv. This recipe makes it not only an incredibly versatile cocktail ingredient but a perfect partner for tonic if you are looking for a delicious, colourful twist on a G&T.
Party in a pack
To support the new King’s & Tonic serve, UK distributor Fields, Morris & Verdin has created an entertaining and engaging programme for bars titled ‘The King’s Table’. Throughout the summer a team of King’s Revellers will be visiting over 150 bars nationally to sample consumers, show them how to make a King’s & Tonic and share the rich history of The King’s Ginger.
As part of this activity social media support
will help drive guests to the event and POS will be provided for bars which includes King’s Ginger glasses, stirrers and straws, not to mention promotional posters, table-talkers, bar mats and blackboards. Consumers will also have the chance to enter prize draws where they can win their own drink & dine tabs.
