Revolution Bars opens two new Revolución de Cuba sites

Revolution Bars Group is set to open two new sites under the Revolución de Cuba brand this month, with new venues in Aberdeen and Reading.

Revolución de CubaThe new openings increase the brand’s estate to 12 sites, including its first in Scotland.  The Revolución de Cuba brand focuses on Cuban-inspired rum-led cocktails, and a Spanish/Mexican-based food menu, with live Latin music.

Mark McQuater, CEO of Revolution Bars Group said: ‘We’re incredibly excited to be bringing the Revolución de Cuba experience to Aberdeen and Reading. Our passion is to spread Cuba’s rich culture nationwide and we are pleased that vision continues to grow as we open more venues.’

Revolución de Cuba Aberdeen will open on November 18 within the Academy Shopping Centre. The 5,200 sq ft site will include Cuban-inspired interiors, 130-covers, an outdoor bandstand with 40 covers, a Havana bar and a live music stage.

The Reading site will open on Friar Street on 24 November. Spread across two floors, the 5,700 sq ft, 170-cover site features a retractable roof on the first floor, which will be used year-round to accommodate 40 additional covers with a heated terrace.
