All Bar One is taking sustainability beyond the straw with its new wine collection. The range, part of the chain’s ‘One for All & All for Wine‘ campaign, offers seven wines that each have their own story of environmental compatibility.
The wines include whites from Yealands Estate in New Zealand, where solar panels produce 30% of the winery’s power; Loxarel Saniger cava, produced in limited quantities with harvest dates taking reference from the moon and the constellations; and Hecht & Bannier rosé on tap, hailing from a vineyard with a focus on energy and water conservation.
‘The story behind each wine made us fall in love with the new range,’ said Laura Clarke, All Bar One’s marketing manager.
‘From the UK exclusive on-tap rosé with a 100% recyclable keg, to a classic Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand where animals roam free across the vineyard, every wine takes the guest on a journey back to nature.’
All Bar One’s environmentally friendly wine collection follows last year’s #StrawsSuck campaign, which saw the company phasing out the use of plastic straws across its 56 UK locations. The new wine range launched on 11 June, tempting guests with sustainable tipples at £5 per 125ml glass.
