Prepare those steaks and practice your tango; the second ever World Malbec Day is approaching.
Taking place on 17 April, this celebration of the juicy red grape is organised by Wines of Argentina, and will see promotions happening in both the on- and off-trade to help spread the word on the wonders of the varietal. One of the key highlights will see Chapel Down unveil a Malbec made from grapes harvested and shipped from Gaucho’s vineyards in Lunlunta, Mendoza in 2011.
Organisers are keen to hear your ideas on any promotions you have in mind. Get in touch with Andrew Maidment
