Harvey Nichols is set to exclusively launch Chapel Down’s two newest wines: a Blanc de Blancs 2007 (the winery’s first 100% Chardonnay sparkling) and its Chardonnay Reserve 2010.
The wines will be available in both the on and off-trade areas of Harvey Nichols’ six stores (Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds, Kinghtsbridge and Manchester) starting this month. Both bottles and glasses of each will be sold in all of the company’s bars and restaurants and will be accompanied by a staff incentive scheme. Chapel Down’s Curious Brew lager and Curious IPA will also be on offer, as well as its Union Red and Late Harvest Nectar Wines.
Ivan Dixon, Harvey Nichols’ English wines and spirits buyer commented: ‘We are very excited to be promoting both Chapel Down and English wine this summer. The two new releases are amongst the best English wines we have tasted, and comprehensively showcase the potential excellence of this fast emerging category.
‘We are confident that feedback from both our staff members and customers will be overwhelmingly positive and look forward to championing English wine across our company during the promotion and beyond.’
