Discover The Origin’s summer campaign has kicked off, championing the provenance of food and wine.
The campaign includes radio appearances by wine expert Fiona Beckett and a recorded food and wine matching session conducted by sommelier Gearoid Devaney and chef Mike Robinson of the Harwood Arms.
Five products are covered by the campaign, namely Burgundy, Port and Douro Valley wines, as well as Parma ham and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Previous activity included the training of store managers from specialist wine merchants and delicatessens.
Discover the Origin is part funded by the EU, Italy, France and Portugal.
