Discovery sets course for on-trade

Recognising that two heads are better than one, or perhaps that there’s safety in numbers, Discovery Wines has teamed up with Bottle Green to tackle the on-trade.

The move comes shortly after the latter’s recent announcement regarding the launch of a new range of on-trade wines. The selection, which will fall under the name ‘Bottle Green Wines’, will be launched at the LIWF this May.

Antony McIndoe, Discovery’s founder, will join Bottle Green, while continuing to manage Discovery’s existing customers. The company is already established within the independent wholesale business, with brands such as Omaka from New Zealand and Vistamar from Chile.

The two combined companies will be entirely focused on wholesale and independent business, rather than servicing individual sites.
