Sixth MW in the BBR stable

Berry Bros & Rudd has the Queen’s seal of approval, so it’s only right that the merchant keeps its standards up. The announcement that BBR marketing manager Catriona Felstead has been inducted into the hallowed halls of The Institute of Masters of Wine definitely proves that standards are still right up there, as she is the sixth member of the team to gain those all-important letters after her name.

As there are only 300 in the world, this means that the company is now employing 2% of the planet’s MWs. Impressive, no?

Felstead (MW) said of the achievement, ‘I am thrilled that four years of sacrifice and hard work has paid off… I am so grateful to everyone who has supported me during this time.’ Alun Griffiths MW, buying director, added: ‘At BBR we take pride in the wine education and training opportunities we give to our staff so we are delighted to learn of Catriona’s success. It’s a brilliant achievement for her to pass both papers at the first attempt and to complete the dissertation.’
