The last sommelier poet

Drinks: Wines
Location: Europe, France

There are countless aspects to a perfect serve – the setting, the view, the company… Provence Wines recently asked sommeliers to submit a perfect serve suggestion for a Provence Rosé on their list, the best one winning a case of Provence Rosé.

Royal Garden Hotel’s sommelier Kenny Chan took top spot with his inspired, and comprehensive, suggestion:

Clos Mireille Rose, Domaine Ott, Cotes du Provence 2011
What better place than the truly unbeatable ‘TEN’ view from Min Jiang restaurant to share a bottle of elegant silky Clos Mireille Rosé for occasions ranging from a discreet rendezvous to intimate dinners and business gatherings.

Clos Mireille Rosé not only offers a gracefully refined quality pink, but also induces a serene mood to enjoy the moment of majestic sunset overlooking spectacular views of the city – especially the iconic London Eye and Europe’s tallest building, the Shard.

Clos Mireille Rosé is also the perfect match for the unique and delectable melody of a dim sum platter that includes the sumptuous taste of both seafood and vegetarian dumplings. The fresh stone fruit notes and lemon citrus seasoned flavour of the Clos Mireille Rosé combine to wonderfully enhance the dining experience.

Is it any wonder that gentlemen so often summon me to fetch another bottle of Clos Mireille Rosé and throw a satisfying glance to their dining companions?
