The winners of this year’s Imbibe Wine List of the Year awards, in association with Louis Roederer Champagne, were announced today at Galvin at Windows in London.

The awards received a mammoth 300 entries this year, and competition was tough across the various categories. So tough, in fact, that this year’s main prize was shared between two winners – only the second time this has happened in the competition’s five years.

This year’s Wine List of the Year award went to Clos Maggiore and Rex Whistler Restaurant, both in London. Judges not only praised Clos Maggiore’s epic list, but were impressed by how accessible it was too. Similarly, judges were enamoured with Rex Whistler’s beautiful list, spanning 40 pages.

Champagne List of the Year went to Texture, with its ‘list for the serious champagne lover, rather than the dilettante’.

For excellence of sourcing, Chez Bruce took home the Sommelier’s Award, while 10 Greek Street walked away with the Great Value Wine List of the Year award.
