It’s here, the 8th edition of Tio Pepe en Rama has landed. A selection of sixty casks have been produced and the majority of the UK stock has been pre-allocated.
Gonzalez Byass says it tries to get Tio Pepe en Rama out to customers as soon as it is in the UK as it believes that, within the first three months, it is closest to replicating the experience of sampling straight from the cask.
Fret ye not, the company always holds back stock for new customers and says it will continue to look for new restaurants to stock Tio Pepe En Rama into the summer months.
Antonio Flores described his most recent release as ‘elegant and aromatic on the nose with the characteristic intense yeasty aroma of the flor, intermingled with the distinctive almond notes typical of Palomino Fino: fresh, complex and intense, salty and expressive, but most of all alive and wild.’
Available from May in the UK, the 2017 Tio Pepe en Rama carries an RRP of £15.50.
