Once Upon a Time in Mexico

If you didn’t make it to the Merchant Hotel last month for Once Upon a Time in Mexico, the Connoisseurs Club event with Cazadores Tequila, there’s now a highlights video online.

Speakers included some of the most influential people in tequila – Julio Bermejo, tequila ambassador for the US, Tomas Estes, tequila ambassador for Europe, and Henry Besant of the Worldwide Cocktail Club. After a talk from these three, Cazadores brand ambassador and manager of Green & Red in London, Steffin Oghene, conducted a tutored tasting of the brand.

The talk covered all things tequila, ranging from production methods, and the differences between highlands and lowlands, to ageing and general regulations. Bermejo also discussed his famous Tommy’s Margarita.
