Magrez in Robuchon tie-in

Wine magnate Bernard Magrez has launched an international gastronomic partnership with Joël Robuchon at the chef’s London branch of L'Atelier.
Magrez, owner of Château Pape-Clément and some 35 vineyards all over the world, has made a number of his wines available by the glass and by the bottle in all Robuchon restaurants.
Furthermore, a series of Robuchon recipes is now available on the Bernard Magrez website, written exclusively by the chef, who holds a total of 25 Michelin stars.
Magrez told London diners that his 35 vineyards – in places as far-flung as Japan and Toro in Spain – represented 35 ‘different emotions’ and reflected the changes in consumer wine tastes over the past two decades.
Meanwhile, he has sold his vineyard in Bergerac after failing to secure international success for the wine – but has bought a vineyard in the Pinhão area of Portugal’s Douro Valley.
