Thornbridge’s New Worlder

Acclaimed Derbyshire brewer Thornbridge has produced a 'New World' cask pale ale using hops from the US and New Zealand.
Lumford has been named after Lumford Mill, built by industrial revolution entrepreneur Richard Arkwright, and which used to sit on the site now occupied by the new Thornbridge brewery, which opened last year.
Brewery manager Kelly Ryan described Lumford as ‘clean and crisp with some subtle malt characters and more lovely hop, mostly in the form of passionfruit, grapefruit and gooseberry.’
