A host of bartenders sporting handmade Mexican facemasks took to the streets of Edinburgh at the beginning of May to kick off the fiesta of ‘Cinco de Mayo’ with the city’s first Cazadores Hunt – a competition that aims to pin down the very best Cazadoes Tequila cocktail outside of the spirit’s home in the Los Altos Highlands.

Accompanied by a live Mariachi band, they danced, drank, and competed their way between five of the city’s top cocktail bars (pausing to perform a conga line through Harvey Nichols) before the winning team were presented with their prizes: low-riders and a place in the national final in October, where they will compete for a trip to Mexico.

The Cazadores Hunt sweeps into Bristol on 12 July before taking on Liverpool on 15 Sep and then London for the national final on 12 October.
