Canalside Chic

Just in time for the sunny season, a new venue has popped up on the banks of the canal in Little Venice. The Summerhouse is a welcome sister restaurant to the ever-busy Waterway just a two-minute stroll along the water.
Nautically themed – oars mounted on the walls, an abundance of blue and white striped seating and pebbles aplenty – the seafood-heavy menu nods to New England with clam chowder and popcorn shrimp, while drinks-wise the emphasis is on the most summery of beverages: rosé and fizz.
A seasonal concept, it will only open between April and October each year, when a private mooring space will be available so guests can choose to arrive by water – very Hamptons-esque.
