Tiki culture has sailed into Bournemouth with the launch of rum cocktail bar Kukui.

An off-shoot of Kukui Oxford, the bar plays on rum’s voyaging history with a passport-style menu in which each cocktail entry is designed to look like a passport stamp. There is also a loyalty membership scheme with three levels: Club Class, First Class, and Business Class for local businesses who can sign up more than 55 people. Perks include priority reservations, invitations to private events and an impressive 25% off all cocktails 5-11pm Mon-Fri.

Drinks are by Soulshakers, and come complete with plenty of Tiki paraphernalia including puncheon barrels, bamboo rafts and wooden boats.
