Cool art

Fourteen artists who are perhaps more familiar with a variety of other canvases – think skin, brick walls, and paper – were each tasked with modifying a silver cube-shaped Red Bull cooler yesterday, when the company’s HQ in London Bridge was turned into a working artists’ studio.
In an initiative that’s set to fill East London’s bars with unique pieces of art, Red Bull invited artists to customise coolers, which are to be placed in venues. Thanks to a creative mix of graffiti and comic artists among others, the art varies widely on each fridge.
By evening the designing was complete and the studio was transformed into an exhibition space before the coolers are placed in outlets this weekend.
