Piccini's Chianti trinity

Tuscan producer Piccini has launched a new, on-trade exclusive range of Chiantis in the UK, under the name Tenuta Moraia.
The range, named after a Piccini family estate, includes a trio of products – a Chianti, a Chianti Classico and a Chianti Classico Riserva, all grown on clay, schist and limestone soils in the Chianti region.
Piccini and UK importer PLB hope that the wines will benefit from Piccini’s strong producer credentials as a supplier of popular, branded Chianti to the UK.
‘These are the three best-known wines from the most famous wine region in Italy,’ said brand manager Adam Wyartt.
‘Chianti jumps out of a restaurant wine list and, as we’re currently the second biggest brand of Italian red wine in the UK off-trade, so will the Piccini name behind it.’
