Psychic sommeliers predict World Cup outcome

Who needs a clairvoyant octopus? A panel of sommeliers accurately predicted a Spanish triumph in this year's World Cup.

As referees in Imbibe's World Cup of wine, sommeliers selected Spain as overall winner, with the Iberian team narrowly beating the Australians in extra time.

Each country's team consisted of four defender wines (below £7.50 ex-VAT), four midfielders (£7.50-£12.50) and two strikers (£12.50 - £30), with eight international teams competing. Much like this year's FIFA World Cup, this contest was held on South African soil - High Timber in London.
