Pol Roger’s been getting out into the open water recently with the sponsorship of some high-profile sailing events.

The company sponsored the entire Cowes week leg of the Extreme Sailing Series earlier this month, with 40ft racing catamarans reaching speeds approaching 60mph, skippered by Olympic and internationally-renowned men and women.

The winning team, called The Wave Muscat, were thrown a jeroboam of Pol Roger from an RIB speedboat while still aboard their catamaran (pictured).

In addition, Pol Roger sponsored the Artemis Hunter Challenge, an Open 60 ‘round the island’ race, also in early August. British sailor Mike Golding came first in the event.
