The Harrow at Little Bedwyn was named Restaurant of the Year (England) at the AA Hospitality Awards last night.

The Wiltshire restaurant, owned by Sue and Roger Jones, was recognised alongside Galvin La Chapelle for London, The Peat Inn in Scotland, and The Hardwick in Wales. ‘We are delighted that this award shows how good our team is, especially John Brown who joined The Harrow 11 years ago as a kitchen porter aged 16, and is now head chef,’ said Roger Jones.

The Lifetime Achievement Award went to George Goring, while the England and overall award for wine went to Hambleton Hall in Rutland.
