New life for whisky liqueur

Scotch whisky specialist Gordon & MacPhail has breathed new life into Dunkeld Atholl Brose, a traditional whisky liqueur with a recipe that dates back to 1475 and the days of rebel Iain MacDonald.
Made from Speyside whisky, honey and oatmeal, it’s a warming, sweet affair with some some cereally depth to it, good for sipping or mixing. The product has also been given sleeker packaging, along with some contemporary serves including the Highland Mojito, which sees the liqueur served with mint leaves, sugar and lime over crushed ice and topped with soda.
