Wine importer PLB has teamed up with family-owned Australian winery Brown Brothers in the UK.

Starting on 1 January, PLB will take on the management and distribution of the brand. The Brown Brothers portfolio is being incorporated into PLB's range, which already includes a significant Australian offering, including McWilliam's, Geoff Merrill and Sticks.

Referring to Brown Brothers, PLB managing director Peter Darbyshire commented: 'The range is innovative and eclectic, they have a great story, a pioneering approach, and the team will bring valuable expertise and insight to the PLB business.'

According to PLB, staff from Brown Brothers will be brought in 'where possible'.
