Wine guru Robert Parker has given a ringing endorsement to the wines of Viña Errázuriz, three of which are ranked among his top four wines from Chile.

In a tasting of 204 Chilean wines, Parker placed Viñedo Chadwick 2007 in top place with a mark of 97 points, followed by Don Maximiano 2007 in third with a score of 94+, and Kai Carmenère 2007 fourth on 94.

Meanwhile, the winery's La Cumbre 2007, and Caliterra's Cenit 2007, registered scores of 93 and 92+ respectively.

Patrick McGrath MW, managing director of Hatch Mansfield Agencies, Errázuriz' UK distributor, said the marks 'bode well for the future of Viña Errázuriz and their new Don Maximiano Icon Winery, which opened at the end of last year'.
