The Absolut FlavourCollider attempts to visualise the mind's reaction to various tastes.

A collaboration between the vodka brand and artist Marcos Lutyens, the idea is to read a person's brainwaves while they taste different drinks, and then project these onto a screen as a lighting display.

The FlavourCollider will be at both bars at FutureEverything, the Manchester exhibition dedicated to creative new technologies from 11-14 May 2011.

Five cocktails have been developed to be tasted with the device, each using a different Absolut Flavour.
