Maple Wood Finish is the fifth product in Woodford Reserve's Master's Collection range, a collection of excusive, limited edition whiskeys.

The brand claims that this use of maple-wood barrels to finish bourbon is an industry first. 'Though it was though that whiskey barrels could not be crafted from sugar maple wood, our Brown-Forman Cooperage has done just that,' said master distiller Chris Morris.' He explained that the barrels were toasted, not charred.

Each whiskey in the Master's Collection range is presented at 47.2%. The range already consists of Four Grain, Sonoma-Cutrer Finish, Sweet Mash and Seasoned Oak.
