London-based Mexican chain Wahaca have always done a great job of promoting tequila to the masses as more than just a shot.

Now though, they’re stepping things up a notch, with the launch of Azulito in the basement of the Wardour Street branch – a bar stocking the UK’s biggest selection of 100% agave tequila, chosen with help from Henry Besant and Nick Strangeway.

There will be a 'tequila cage', where consumers can find more information on the tequilas offered, and each month Azulito will also bring in an exclusive, previously unknown 'guest tequila' - an initiative developed with the Mexican National Tequila Chamber to boost the profile of lesser-known brands.
