Stevens Garnier has been acquired by wine producer Sogrape, already a shareholder in the UK wine agency.

The company also gains a new managing director, Matt Douglas, formerly operations director at Argento Wine Company, and before that commercial director at Bibendum. Founding director Jane Cranston, and former managing director, will remain as a company director. James Forbes will still be in charge of buying and marketing for the agency.
