Champagne offers during the Christmas season are as inevitable as a family argument around the dinner table on the big day itself.
And so it is that Matthew Clark have generously embarked upon a buy two bottles, get one free deal in December to ensure that festive celebrations go with a pop despite these straitened times.
This year's offering follows on from that of 2010, when the company embarked upon a buy two, get a magnum free deal.
'Following the success of last year's magnum promotion, it was important for us to enhance our offer this year and offer the best possible deal to add value and profits to our customers during Christmas and New Year,' said Simon Jerrome, Matthew Clark's wine purchasing director.
The champagnes available under this offer are Piper-Heidsieck Rare Brut 2002, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut 1998, Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne Brut 2000 and Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Brut, all in 75cl format. Be warned, however – the free bottle has to be the same as the paid-for product.
