It’s only fitting, some might say, that a craft brewery so close to the North Pole should produce a festive ale for the season of goodwill.

And that’s exactly what Icelandic brewer Einstök Ölgerd has done in the shape of its Doppelbock, a specially packaged 6.7% abv brew that’s been made available exclusively for this time of year.

Seeing as the brewery is only 60 miles south of the Arctic Circle, we wouldn’t be surprised if Santa stopped in for a quick half before slogging it out across the globe on Christmas Eve...
