Jascots makes Olympian effort

Road closed

On-trade specialist merchant Jascots has unveiled plans to circumvent likely supply issues during next year’s London Olympics and Paralympic Games.

The West London-based company plans to offer customers the option of receiving supplies between 2am and 7am, getting around the road closures, temporary Games lanes and route changes in place during the summer.

Jascots said it would work with customers to explore the possibility of stockpiling supplies – space permitting – or of using alternative delivery locations.

'At this stage, during the Olympic period, we expect to be making the bulk of our deliveries between 2am and 7am to those clients who are able to receive goods during these times and want a "no fail guarantee",' said Jascots MD John Charnock. 'We will also be extending the sales office opening hours.'
